People need to wake up...

A cancer fundraiser was held at a Shoppers Drug Mart in B.C. that I had heard of. At this fundraising event, people were given free makeovers, fragrance demos and chances to win more cosmetics. I find this absolutely disgusting and contradicting. Many people are uneducated about what is in the products and cosmetics that they use. Most of our off-the-shelf cosmetics that we buy contain cancer causing chemicals and could eventually lead to cancer if the product is used on a daily basis. If people were to stop using these poisonous cosmetics, cancer rates could potentially drop. The FDA and the government obviously does not care for the health and well being of whole lot of us if they allow this on the shelf. It's a vicious cycle. It's just a word of advice, don't hold a fundraiser for cancer when you are just putting cancer on the people who donate anyway. Pointless....
