COLDWATER MINOR HOCKEY AWARDS DAY

The Coldwater Wildcats finished off a great season with their annual awards day celebrations. The association was represented by 8 teams this season from Tyke to Bantam.
Memorial award winners were as follows Novice MVP - Gary Simpson Memorial awarded to Jack Straw; Atom MVP- Joe Moreau Memorial awarded to Trent Aigeldinger; Peewee MVP-Lyttle Johnstone Memorial awarded to Kyle Heckendorn and the Bantam MVP-Marshall Gouett Memorial awarded to Hunter Sisson.
The Rookie Goalie- Greg Brown memorial was awarded to Callum Newland while Jackson Mitchell received the Frank Morano most valuable goalie award and Nolan Atkinson the Dwayne Lahay award for the Peewee/Bantam goalie of the year. LIv Lovering received the award for the Rookie player Peewee and above in honor of Victor Johnstone and Hunter Sisson was recipient of the Earl Brandon- Most valuable defenceman award.
The trainer of the year in memory of Bill Gleadall was awarded to Mark Jones, the volunteer of the year in memory of Greg Aymer was awarded to Richard Aigeldinger, the club supporter award in memory of Leslie Ball was awarded to Michelle Silk while Neil Richardson received the Coach of the Year award.
A fantastic day of celebration included team awards for most sportsmanlike, dedicated and improved as well. Looking forward to a great summer including our annual golf tournament. Many thanks to all that participated, coached, cheered for and supported our club this year!!
