What shines forth first and foremost with The Brothers Mcclurg is their deep love for God beautifully expressed through honest, simple and often witty life stories, and their original music incorporating beautiful harmonies and crystal clear acoustic guitar melodies and rhythm. Based out of Buffalo New York, Brothers McClurg’s legacy of music and ministry spans three generations and has a rich heritage of serving the local church. Their goal has always included breaking down denominational barriers, starting with themselves as each band member comes from a different church tradition. We want to spur one another on, lifting up the name of Christ inside the church, as well as in the streets, says Anthony Hoisington. Our goal is to rally the church to action, loving one another and also loving the unlovely and replicating this passion in every city and community we encounter.
Brothers McClurg are making their second appearance in Orillia at Westmount Congregation, The United Church of Canada, on Wednesday, December 14th at 7 pm for a Christmas Concert, sharing music from their CD, Goin Back To Bethlehem. Don’t miss this opportunity to see Brothers McClurg as part of their On The Road Again Tour 2016/2017. The Brothers have released several albums available on iTunes and Amazon and were recently featured in Worship Leader Magazine in the US. Tickets available at Perfect Timing, 106 Mississauga Street East, advance $12.50/ $15 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Westmount Congregation is located at 23 Westmount Dr. S, Orillia.
