Moonstone Mechanical Novice A Terriers Sweep East Gwillimbury

The Moonstone Mechanical Novice A Terriers completed a 3-game sweep of the East Gwillimbury Eagles with a 4-0 victory on Sunday. Caden Carroll opened the scoring on a goal assisted by Cole Balkwill. Devun Colebrook added to the lead with a goal assisted by Damian Deruiter. Carroll added his second of the game on a beautiful pass from Zeke Neely to make it 3-0 midway through the third period. Parker Orr round out the scoring unassisted late in the third period to make the final 4-0. Sebastien Soczka earned his second shut-out of the series in the win.

The Terriers opened the series with an 8-1 victory on Tuesday. Carroll led the Terriers with 3 G 2A in the opening game. Other point-getters included Colebrook 2G, Orr 1G 1A, Mason Bard 1G, Carson Copegog 1G, Neely 1A, Deruiter 1A, Michael Murphy 1A and Balkwill 1A. Parker Windsor earned the victory in goal.

The Terriers travelled to East Gwillimbury on Saturday and skated away with a 7-0 victory. Orr led the attack with 3 goals. Carroll, Hyland Monague and Neely added 1G and 1A each. Colebrook 1G and Murphy 1A rounded out the scoring for the Terriers. Soczka earned the shut-out.

The Moonstone Mechanical Novice A Terriers will face the Barrie Colts in the Quarter Finals of the OMHA Central A playdowns in early February.
