The Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club announces Bursary winners

Recently the Orillia Fish and Game Conservation Club awarded its Leatherdale Bursary for 2015. The Leatherdale Bursary has been awarded each year since 1981 to graduating Orillia high school students who plans to take conservation-related courses in college or university. We would like to congratulate this year’s two winners

1st place winner of a $2,000.00 bursary goes to Jasmine Thompson of Twin Lakes Secondary school. Jasmine Plans to study at University of Toronto in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology her parents are Larry Thompson and Janine Turnbull from Orillia.

2nd place winner of a $1,000.00 bursary goes to Nicolas Brancatella of Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School. Nicolas plans to study at Lakehead University Orillia in Environmental Sustainability. His Parents are Julie and Vito Brancatella from Brechin.
