It was PanAm-mania today in Orillia as 20 Torchbearers ran from the OPP station to a local Public School today. The flame started its' journey with a celebration in the park on Monday evening and then began its' journey along the street. Teija is a Rhythmic Gymnast who was part of last summer's PanAm Champion team. She wanted to carry the torch in Orillia because it is her summer home and she loves the city. The rain didn't stop the bystanders from coming out and cheering the runners on. The OPP offered security and encouragement along the route running and biking along side each leg. It was an exciting time!
