Todmorden Mills: Then and Now

The small industrial community of Todmorden provided lumber, flour, beer and bricks to the growing city of Toronto throughout the 19th century. This archival photography exhibit, complemented by copies of original art works from the City of Toronto collections, explores Todmorden from its beginnings as an industrial community in the late 1790s to its establishment as Todmorden Mills Heritage Site in 1967 by East York Mayor True Davidson. Admission to the Papermill Gallery is free. Regular admission applies to other exhibits at Todmorden Mills.
