Orillia Museum of Art and History historic film footage

This is a short excerpt of a DVD produced by the Orillia Museum of Art and History from home movies of Orillia dating back to the 1920s. This rare film shows an Orillia lost to history, yet remarkably familiar. The full three and a half hour collection of films is being sold by the museum. A preview of the footage is being staged Thursday at the museum.

I was very inspired by this film, and I had no idea they lived across the street from the house I have lived in for the past 31 years; 152 Laclie street. I purchased the property from Corb Harvey in May of 1975. Words cannot explain how I felt watching this film. Seeing all the properties and steets around me back in 1928 to 1954. The good old days.
Many Thanks to the Grants, and to all who were involved in this film.
