Taking transit to the Santa Claus Parade Sunday? It'll be on the house.

Actually, it'll be on the doughnut shop.

Tim Hortons is once again sponsoring free rides on Orillia Transit Sunday. Since 2013, when Sunday service was first brought to Orillia Transit, the coffee and baked goods chain has provided funding for six hours of free transit for riders in Orillia. The remaining two hours of service will also be gratis, with the city picking up the tab.

Sunday service on Orillia Transit runs from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. However, due to the street closures along the parade route, service will cease for three hours during the parade.
