NHL Alumni Benefit Tour in Bracebridge Friday
The 30th anniversary of the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run is set to be celebrated this year with a star-studded series of old-timer hockey games.
One of the first games is Friday in Bracebridge as the 2017 NHL Alumni Benefit Tour comes to town. Past NHL superstars including Owen Nolan, Tiger Williams and Rick Vaive will hit the ice against the local officers on the Law Enforcement All-Stars. Hockey ambassador Walter Gretzky will also be on hand for the evening at the Bracebridge Memorial Arena.
The Scotiabank NHL Alumni Benefit Tour gives fans a unique experience and an evening to remember that showcases top-shelf hockey skills, on-ice pranks and old-fashioned hockey nostalgia. The evening provides something for fans of all ages and gives them an opportunity to see a lighter side of these hockey greats while raising money for a cause.
Doors open at 6 p.m., with a 7 p.m. puck drop. Tickets cost $22 each and are available at benefithockey.com/tickets or by calling 844-363-0500.
The tour comes to Orillia Dec. 21.
