A Penetanguishene man faces several charges following a motor-vehicle collision in northern Ontario.

At about 8:15 p.m. Friday, officers from the Superior East Wawa OPP detachment responded to a motor-vehicle collision on Highway 17 about 10 kilometres north of Wawa.

No serious injuries were reported, but after arriving at the scene officers discovered that one of the vehicles involved had earlier been reported stolen from a Wawa address.

Lindsey Trudeau, 25, was charged in relation to the incident and is being held in custody pending a bail hearing. He faces charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, fail to comply with a probation order, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and break and enter.
