Smiles all around

Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital’s (OSMH) pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) project got a chunk of dough Tuesday. A cheque for $36,584 was presented by Cathy Cherwinski, general manager at Tim Hortons on West Street North, to Nicole McCahon, executive director of the OSMH Foundation. The money was raised through the sale of Tim Hortons smile cookies. The hospital continues to seek community support to raise the remaining $500,000 for the NICU and hopes to complete the larger and updated space by early next year.
