Downtown Orillia presents The Haunting
On Oct. 26, venture if you dare into downtown Orillia and experience all things that go bump in the night.
Haunted Halloween tours will take place at the Orillia Museum of Art and History (OMAH) and the Orillia Opera House and will continue throughout downtown Orillia.
While on the OMAH tour, Nightmare on Peter Street, guests will be transformed by a ghoulsome make-up artist in time for the end-of-night costume party and be led into the darkness, where they will endure the creepy Chainsaw Hospital haunted house ending the tour in the clock tower.
Tours will also consist of participating downtown businesses offering interactive and spooky haunting features and Halloween-themed food and drinks. Look for the Jack-o’-lanterns in merchant windows and pop in for a trick or treat.
Guests will end the night at the The Haunting’s costume party at the Royal Canadian Legion.
Masquerade and dance to Halloween tunes with a live DJ, dress up in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win bragging rights and to take home the best-costume prize.
Ticket are $15 and are available at the downtown Orillia office at 33 Mississaga St. W. or at downtownorillia.ticketleap.com/the-haunting2. This event is limited to people aged 16 and older.
Purchasing tickets before the event is recommended.
A listing of participating downtown venues will be available closer to the tour date, so stay tuned to downtownorillia.ca for more information.
