Kingston, Ont. -

Kingston Police say officers who stopped a driver for allegedly rolling through a stop light found the accused wasn’t wearing any pants - but he was wearing a Blue Jays jersey.

The bizarre incident occurred early Wednesday in front of a fully-marked cop cruiser.

Investigators say the driver sped up when the officers activated the siren and lights, but was forced to stop to wait for an apartment building garage door to open.

The delay allowed the officers to pull the man from the car - that's when they found he was wearing only underwear and the jersey.

The man was taken to the police station and official say breath samples indicated his blood-alcohol level was approximately 2 1/2 times the legal limit.

A 20-year-old Mississauga man is facing charges of impaired driving, failing to stop at a red light, and failing to provide identification.
