Charges are pending after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday on Wainman Line in Severn Township.

Both vehicles were travelling north when they collided at around 5:45 p.m., states an OPP media release.

One vehicle was hit from behind after slowing down to turn left into a private driveway.

There were three people in the car that was struck and three adults and two children in the other car. Two adults — one from each vehicle — were taken to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

OPP said, though weather conditions were good at the time, the road was covered in ice and snow. The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
